DUI not violent felony?

Does anyone know about the new US supreme court ruling regarding DUI not a antagonistic felony that was rules in the case of Begay VS US on 4/16/08? Does this expect DUI's are not longer felony or that sentencing are lessened?
It is still a felony but not a violent felony so it won't preclude you from being able to vote and capture certain jobs. Sentencing will be the same
What the court be saying is that DUI is not premeditated, and therefore cannot be used to enhance a charge to make a party do more time. In TX. the first 2 DWIs are misdemeanors, after that they are felonies which the 3rd DWI will get you 2 yrs. in prison,if 5. For a crime to be violent, an injury or attempt to injure would have to occur. In itself, driving while intoxicated do not draw together that criteria. Additional actions done concurrently may be violent, but that is beyond what you hint.
