If a person is issued a WARRANT FOR ARREST, can that person have someone else turn themselves in?

My sister recently was issued a warrant for arrest due to a charge that she failed to go to court on. Her boyfriend said that he would turn himself in. In place for her. Is this possible? WIll the Police accept somebody else who name is not on the warrant?
No...absolutely not.
Here's the scenario:

Boyfriend walks into the police station.
The cops laugh.
The cops follow the boyfriend home.
The cops arrest your sister.

-The end.
That idea is on crack, No it will not work.
I would avoid it. Have you ever seen the movie(play) hair?

Answer:
If he does, then he will be charged with aiding and abedding. Tell your sister to get her act straight and fess up to her mistakes. As for her boyfriend, though very honorable, he's a jackazz!!!!
Funny !!! Court wants her not her bf......
She has to go ... unless she gets herself cloned ...
