What am I entitled to if my name still appears on a title to property where only my ex was obligated to pay?

He also filed bankruptcy, this was dismissed and he no longer has the property. The property has been sold, but I was never contacted about the sale. However, I was contacted by another prospective buyer who called to ask me to sign a legal document in order to have my name removed from the title. How could the first purchaser after his bankruptcy buy without me signing off and the second one is asking that I sign in order to finalize the sale.
Unless the bankruptcy court somehow took away your right to it, the property wasn't legally sold. You still own part of it. The buyer was cheated by the seller. But that's not your fault. It does not matter who paid for the property - your name is on it, so you own part of it. Period.

You say 'prospective' buyer - does that mean it hasn't been sold yet? Or that it was sold, and then is being sold again? Either way, why sign away the deed for nothing if you own part of it? You own part of this property, and people are going around buying and selling it like you don't. This guy who wants you to sign this thing - he should be PAYING you to sign because he's a buyer and you're an owner. Is it still in bankruptcy prodeedings? Then you need a lawyer to represent your interests there.

If you sign something taking your name off of it, you're giving it away for free. DO NOT SIGN ANYTHING. If you want this property or want money for it's sale, get a real estate lawyer and go get what is rightfully yours. You probably won't get to keep the property, but you should get part of the proceeds of selling it.
Hoo boy...you need a lawyer BIG-time. Contact the state bar association. The website should have a Lawyer Referral link. You need an attorney with bankruptcy and litigation experience. Act immediately to ensure you have priority among the bankrupt's creditors.

Good luck.

This is very confusing. Who supposedly sold the property the first time? Him, I'm assuming? If your name is on the title he couldn't have sold it (not with clear title) without you being involved. But I'm wondering if this is an ex-husband who was awarded the home during a divorce? If so, it will be very easy for him to prove to a court that you're not entitled to any funds.

Discuss it with a local attorney, but he/she will need to know more details before they can advise you.
