Temporary court ordered supervised visitations? can wife be there too?
my husband was ordered temporary supervised visits with his daughter at his parents. he wants me to be there with him his parents said they are not sure because it doesnt say anything aboutme in the court order. what should we do?
You have to look at your court order. Or call the courts on Monday
If it is in family court, you need to find out if it is a closed court. It all depends on the judge. It is thier court room, and each one has diffrent polices. I would call the court house to find out the judges policy on it. The court clerk would probly be happy to help you.
If the court order doesn't expressly prohibit it, you can be there.
Stay home. If the court order does not expressly allow you to be with your husband during these visits- and his parents apparently don't want you there - stay home. Unless you want to hire an attorney who practises family law to apply to vary the court order - an iffy application at best, I'd say. If you still wish to proceed, contact the state bar association. The website will have a Lawyer Referral link and phone number.
Thanks for not revealing why your husband needs supervised visits, by the way. We'd rather not know.

The court is ordering that they supervise the visitation. They are not ordering what goes on while the visitation occurs.
If the visitation is really soon, make the parents comfortable and don't go this time. If you have more time, or before the next visitation, contact Social Services. They have to do supervised visitation all the time and they can likely explain what needs to go on.
I was investigated so I could supervise a visitation for my godchildren. I was told absolutely nothing prior to the visitation or the day I was there. You would think that they would have a list or something.
