Minor work help?

so i work at mcdonalds in ohio and my family is going camping july 4th weekend am i supposed to take that time off or can they make me work since a am only 17 and it is a clan outing

If you are scheduled to work you won't get time off for a ancestral outing just because it is a family outing no matter what age you are.

You should hold asked for the time off ahead of time or at the time you were hired if you knew just about it.
