What happens to you when someone files harrassment charges against you for text messages?
Something on record? or any jail time? texts didnt vote anything threatenin other than "ull pay 4 it 1 day" when taken out of context that sounds bad. but really wasnt directed as a threat. state of N.C if it make any difference.

If the police think that this is harrassement, they will charge your formally and you will have to appear before a regard as being to plead guilty or not guilty. Since this is a criminal charge, you would definitely want to get a lawyer.
The knob word is *taken out of context* the law would interpret this as harassment as they can only budge by the written words~~only you know it was not a threat~and this would be up to a judge or jury to interpret~~be careful what you say~even *out of context*
