i would really like to know one thing and i know that what i am asking is based on the news . why do mormons say that they dont belive in more than .1. wife at a time i was watching the new thursday and there is was women why had married there own brothers. uncles. cousins. and had children by them . why does this happen oh. it was. on.t.v. it was the church of jesus christ of latter day saints. the news stated it and women are only useful to bear children and work in the farms when they cant have children then they are put into the gardens as one woman who excaped from there she stated it was only for the fittest to survive . isnt there a law against this and why dont they inforce it
Actually we call this poligamists, this was what the morons ... err mormans used to be. Then they decided if the world was going to except them it would have to change.
There is a break off group of the Mormon Church that still practices polygamy. I don't know why this is so ******* hard for people to get.
Mormons haven't practiced poligamy for well over 100 years.

The group you are talking about is called the Fundamental Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, not the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. They are a break away sect from the church and they do practice polygamy. The original LDS church does not practice nor condone polygamy.
What I know is that in the rual areas of Utah there are componds of this type of life style going on. What you saw I think was the 60 min. program on Mormons becasue of the Big Love program that was is on HBO++++ Viagra had a big promotional spot, and the church too..
Dude they gotz to lie because polygamy is against the law if they told the truth they would end up in jail . Make sense ?
firstly mormons are a scary bunch of ppl, and u keep well away from them, they have a lot of herecies, and the beliefs that they have r not supported by orthodox Christianity which believes that God is God, Jesus Christ is the son of God, that the Devil is a fallen angel not a son of the 'Divine ' union between the mother god and the father, that Women r our equals, and r respected and treated with care and respect that they deserve.

k, so far as i know there is a law against polygomy in most countries
