How often is an opposition MP vilified for doing his job properly seeking to make the executive answerable?


Is this a new thing to bring the police in when the administration is displeased. Robert C more foul ups or not if the electorate vote this lot back in this country is truly finished, because the community will need a sanity check. They have lived contained by cloud cuckoo land for too long. I think it is fair to vote that a party which is in office for longer than two elections get tired and and then punch drunk. Richard I have either forgotten that r be not aware of it, but it shows that deceit is in Brown's total make up. He is no honest trustworthy prudent Scot. The ironic thing is that Gordon Brown tried to do somemthing similar to Thatchers government. He gain info from a leak and then tried to make it public. Although he get a bit of criticism for his methods he basically got away with it and his info be made public. Now the roles have reversed and Labour are in power with Gordon surrounded by charge, Damian Green tried to expose a flaw in the Labour government (which I imagine be much more serious) and he was arrested, put on trial and not allowed to make the info public. Edit: Gordon did do something incredibly similar in 1985, he was passed information by someone from Whitehall who believed it was surrounded by the public interest but because he wasn't arrested or anything like that it didn't drag out and become a big deal. When a political gala that is in power is found to say the lowest possible,wanting!Then that political party will use every trick and every ruse to discredit the Opposition. What the Labour Party did,is in effect unforgivable as the evidence Damian Green placed into the broad arena;That being immigration shortcomings of the Labour Party is well known and documented. The Labour Party that we in a minute have in power is a 'jinxed' political party,which is making one gaffe after another! So that immediately we have a cartload of political zombies instead of fine upstanding and talented politicians. This Labour Party we have contained by power today is a bunch of political 'punch drunk' lack lustre politicians who just cannot make a declaration without consulting Peter Mandelson. All the British electorate can hope for, is that this Labour Government do not make any more monumental mistakes previously the next General Election.
