CT unemployment claims appeal, can I still collect?
I recently became unemployed. My employer never showed up for the audible range and I was granted benefits. The payments were held until the outcome of the first hearing. Now my ex-employer have appealed the decision and a referee hearing have been scheduled.June 25th. Will I still receive benefit checks in the penny-pinching time, or will these payments be held also until the outcome of the appeal hearing?
Best Answer:
They should hold the checks. If you get denied, you must repay whatever they hold already paid.
