When the police come to my door can i be naked?

If the police come to my door becuase im having a party and they dont have a warrant. when i answer my door is it okay to be uncovered becuase its my own house and if they dont want to see me nude then they can leave right?
Sure, go for it. You must be a Democrat. haha, this is excellent. Yes, you can be as naked as you want. There may be something about indecent exposure because the public can SEE you when you begin your door naked, but I say go for it.
Problem is, as soon as you open the door, you have exposed yourslef to the public and the officer, so you could possibly be arrrested, depending on local law. You have every right to be naked surrounded by your own home...when you have privacy. As soon as the bell rings and you make contact with the outside world, you should be properly attired as you do not know who is on the other side of the door.
Bottom column, if others can see you, you may be violating a law.

Learn your rights my ninja. No warrant, no answer. That's how I've rolled since elevated school. Step 1.) Close the blinds and make sure they can't see anything incriminating worthy of obtaining a warrant for. Step 2.) Don't answer the door. Sure, they'll call upon your house phone, knock on windows and threaten you, but you don't have to answer. They aren't about to achieve a SWAT team, some German Shepherds and a door ram to bust a party. I will we didn't have to wear clothes either. How would you feel if the cops showed up at your door undressed......and they HAD a warrant?
Unless the police have a warrant, you don't even have to amenable the door. If you open your door to an officer that doesn't have a warrant, you could be inviting trouble on yourself. Lets say that you own a bong sitting on you coffee table. If you open the door and they see it, they now have probable bring to search your entire house for drugs. Anything else that is found and is illegal can be used against you. I speak to them through the door, unless they enjoy a warrant, or I tell them to get off my property and budge back to the sidewalk and I will be out shortly to speak with them. I never let them see within or come in to my house. Laws vary in different section of the country, so you should probably research those where you live. In some locations, you may be nude on your own property, but not visible from anyone else's property or public rights of way. In other locations, state of undress may not be a problem at all. Do your research first!
if you open the door when you with nothing on you will get arested then they can ask you questions at hand. your best chouce is dont open the door and if you dont ever step out of the house. couse when you strep out of your house there different rules to follow. Hmm....

Why can't you open the door beside the door shielding your body. When they ask you to open up, tell them you're naked. That passageway, if they demand entry / tell you to open the door anyway, it be done at their command.

If they tell you that you must cover up and come outside, I'd bet that would be a legalized order. Refusing that would probably be grounds for a nuisance arrest. And I wouldn't be surprised if they could come in and directive you to cover up inside while they're there, too.
