Wearing a wire? where can I get one? do they hold up in court?


First, where can I get the equipment? Is it just a regular tape device and a microphone? Where can I get a decent one maybe? Also my girlfriend seem to be under the impression that wire tapings can be thrown out of court....I twig anything can be thrown up, but she is under the idea that they all return with thrown out and are useless. Something about not being able to journal a conversation with someone without them knowing. Is this true? I'm not a narc...ty

Umm,.. I don't know nearly where you are but DON'T do it in Massachusetts! Recording a conversation without the consent of adjectives parties violates MGL Chapter 272: Section 99. Paragraph C. and can earn you a two and a half year's leave at the Greybar Resort along with a US$10,000 fine...
You can't use it unless you have an court establish saying so. Without it, it's up the the court if they would hear it.
Some States prohibit taping conversations minus the consent of all parties; others permit it as long as you are tape a conversation to which you are a party. Check your own State's wiretap laws. If you violate them you are at risk not only to hold any tapes thrown out, but also getting charged with a crime, yourself.
look buddy i dont chew over thats good idea esspecially if you are going to court you couldn't do anything with the evidence because if you be trying to show the cops they wouldnt care about the evidence they could just arest you for perform of violation take my advice
Courts do not recognize as valid evidence tape recordings made of individuals unless a warrant to do so have been signed and issued by a judge. It is illegal to cartridge a conversation with someone and they not being aware of it. I can't say for in a minute, but the last time I heard, taped conversations are legalized in court without the other person have known he had been record in the state of Georgia. Better consult a lawyer about this examine. I guess the wire will hold up in court as well as anywhere else if it is fastened on correctly. Better use sticky stuff surgical tape to secure it to your body unless you wear it in a poclet. Hah, Hah, Hah!
