How can can i exponge my background ??
ho do i go about trying 2 clear up my past do i need 2 see a judge or a lawyer ???
You should see an attorney. If you served your probation and have not had any further legal trouble you may be able to get your record expunged. I think it costs $500.00 of less, but I'm not sure of that.
you cant do it unless you are trying to do it to your juvinile record but even then people (military) can still see your past so its not even worth it. i had a big juvie record but none can base any decisions on it now that im 18 and off parole and probabtion
Answer:
1st thing would be to learn that the word is 'expunge', the next would be to get a lawyer to see if the charges would be expungable. In most cases, unless you were a minor and charged as a minor or found not guilty, or someone else found guilty of the crime you allegedly committed, there would be no terms for expungement.
Most background check go back a minimum of 7 years for a misdeamnor and 7-10 years for felony and with some jobs and rights (like working in a bank or owning a gun) they will go back for your entire life.
