What happens to a deceased person's estate if the beeficiaries to their will cannot be found ?
The estate goes to Probate.
Plain and simple, the entire Estate will in a minute belong to the State or to the government. Since there is no known beneficiaries to it thus, as a good father, the government will claim it for the common fitting of the community.
But it is so impossible that there is no known relatives, even unknown relatives appear when Estate or property is being auction by the policy. It is very unlikely nobody will claim for an Estate if for example it is worth 200 million dollars? Even not related to the victim, esp. when it comes to money matter unimaginable relatives save pouring in to claim something not even theirs to keep.
most states publish; and if no claim is made, the property is deemed by the probate court under it's administration for liquidation
