Holland is ambiguous about it - it's not exactly LEGAL, but not exactly ILLEGAL either .. a bit like the U.S. immigration laws ... :)

in the countries where no one cares about anyone.... well, where they want to tax you for the use.....kill yourself they just want the tax , I say that because talks of legalizing much more harmful and deadly 'recreational' drugs is next..............so they can tax it..... but I dont feel sorry for anyone who chooses to use it......they cost more money just caring for them... maybe the tax should pay for all their care.

In the Netherlands, softer drugs such as marijuana is legal. However. It is controlled. You have to have a license to sell it. (such as a coffee shop.. yes they exist and no they are not all they are cracked up to be) You are only allowed to sell to 18 and older and only a certain amount per person. Most coffee shops make it a rule that you HAVE to have a cup of tea or coffee while there. (but not all) You can see people smoking on the streets. Its not uncommon but the govt frowns on such behavior.
