Illegalizing salvia?
So, states that have no laws against salvia are trying to ban it and illegalize it. I realize it is a drug, but cmon.......sniffing bonding agent is worse than salvia and they didnt debate about it. Is it me or are the states going way too far. What is so bad nearly salvia? Am I missing something?
Fyi, I do not smoke weed or get high, never have and never will.
If they make it evil criminals will be able to profit off of it.
As long as it's legal the money go to legitimate businesses and has taxes paid on it.
The genuine best solution is to ban the sale of it to anyone under 18 and require deterrent labels.
Also research Salvia Divinorum on websites about it, not sensationalist news articles.
The affects end a maximum of 15 minutes.
Yes, it's a powerful drug and it's possible to have a bad experience on it I see know reason why an fully developed should not be able chose to take it.
There have be no known cases of overdose, addiction, or health problems.
Weather legal or not, it will never become extremely popular. It doesn't taste good and many users own no desire to ever take it again. Some people have even relatively drugs altogether after trying salvia once.
The last thing I would like to mention is in attendance is currently research into the medical potential of salvia divinorum. If it were made illegal such research would have to be shut down and potential cures might not be found.
Sniffing or "huffing" gum is illegal, also. i belive that it should be illegal.. it causes effects basically like any illegal drug.. its left my friends "war off purple monkeys" and "robbing banks for daisies"...
enough said.
Oh, I remember that south park lol when they illegalized cats. I deem its the same situation, they are ruining the fun for all. Lets rebel!

I've raise kiddos, they are grown now: what I found out when they were in their teens is this: smoking one weed cig is as unpromising or worse than smoking a carton cigs(my allergy specialist told my son that). The opposition to cigarette smoking has gone sky high---it's almost like you're a criminal in the present day if you smoke, but it seems to be accepted to do drugs by the same general public....I don't get it.
I believe you when you say that you never get high-ranking, but the point for me is how easily drug use is accepted and excused where smoking tobacco is not--and no, I am not a smoker...... People not using responsibility. Thats it plain and simple. People do stupid stuff. They become impair without a sober sitter or sober driver. They ingest too much.
If people used respsonsiblity in their recreational habbits, it wouldnt be getting disqualified and mj would have a chance for legalization
Louisiana, Missouri, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Delaware, Maine, North Dakota, and Illinois are the solely states in the USA that have laws prohibiting possession of Salvia divinorum. Louisiana and Oklahoma own provisions in their laws that allow possession of the plant when it is not intended for human consumption. In Oklahoma, plain Salvia divinorum is legal, but extract-enhanced leaves are not. The state of Maine individual prohibits possesion by minors. Possesion remains legal for adults in Maine; however, it is illegal for adults to vend or transfer Salvia divinorum to anyone under 18 years of age. Salvia divinorum is entirely legal surrounded by all other states. However, law makers surrounded by several other states are currently considering legislative bills that seek to ban Salvia divinorum in those states.
as near smoking anything, you can develop any number of cardiovascular problems (up to and including lung cancer), and taking any drug can obviously throw off your system (cause addiction, mess with your internal chemistry, etc).
