I moved to North Carolina a few weeks ago and interviewed at sears...I passed the drug test but haven't heard?

back from them...is that because I have drunk driving on my record from my home state? I be convicted there and went to jail and did a probation but successfully completed..

Depends on where within North Carolina you live. It is always a good think to check posterior with an employer and ask about the status of an application, normally after a week or so. of late call or e-mail and ask them what is going on. I live in North Carolina, and up in Durham and Raleigh nouns, they are not as strict, also over near Charlotte. i live in Fayetteville, and they are very picky. Good luck

You should give them a call. Unfortunately a lot of companies do not hire workers with a record, if they have several candidate they wll choose the one without a record.
