Legal custody???
If there is a DNA taken and proves someone is the father but he REFUSES and wants nothing to do near child.....does he have to do anything??? explain/details pleas.
he will have to pay child support (or eventually run to jail for non-payment) He has to play child support. It's his kid - he is responsible.

He has no legal responsibilty to see or articulate to the child ever. He can be slime if he wants.
He must pay child support, that's all. Some courts put together you go to a parenting class, but that's about it.
