Should All Immigrants (Legal and Illegal) serve our Country and relocate?

I say that ALL Immigrants 18 and older should be forced to serve in the Military for 4 years before becoming a Citizen. They should also be relocated where 'we' want them, and after 4 years, they can move anywhere 'they' want. While serving our country, they would learn english, earn money, and any member of their family younger than 18 would be enrolled in school at the military base. If being a US citizen is that important to them, then that is the LEAST they can do for the USA. Do you Agree or Disagree, and WHY?
Yeah, sure. Hand out weapons to people who don't speak the language, are undocumented (priors), and who you've just insulted.

Then put them in charge of protecting you.

i dont think anybody thats not a citzen should serve in our military.your whole heart and soul should be in loving this country, and i dont feel this immigrants, care for us, the american people.i think they would cut our throats if they got the chance.i know i wouldnt fight any wars for them.
hum mm, that is an interesting suggestion. I don't think it would really happen but serving in the Military would be a good thing for them to do. Of course, I think anyone over 18 should serve in the military. You wouldn't want the military to comprise of just immigrants. But with all types of people working together, side by side would be a good thing for this country. That's what the US is all about.

Umm, that's slightly insane. You know, unless you're a Native American, you really don't have any room to talk about immigrants. No one should be forced to join the armed forces. There's 'proud americans' here that don't want to die for their country, why should people just new to it? I'm taking it you're too young to hear of draft dodging, genocide? And they certainly shouldn't be relocated to wherever the government, or you, or whoever you meant by 'we' wants them to go. To do any of what you propose would crumble what small vestiges of the ideals this country was built upon that are left.
Legal immigrants can and should enjoy all of the benefits that this nation offers. Illegals deserve a bus trip home so they can then attempt to come back the right way. All of your other forced relocation and mandatory military service is a load of crap, and is entirely un-Constitutional.
Provided there is a strong difference between LEGAL AND ILLEGAL i think you're mistaking people for brainless animals.

You can't RECRUIT people against their will and force them to go give their butt for a country who is basically blackmailing them. Not only, but in doing so you're also zeroing the reasons why they moved over there, i.e. IMPROVE their LIFE (Not go at WAR on your behalf while you scratch your unit playing with a playstation). Also, i think you should read a little bit about how many US ARMY soldiers (americans and immigrated) flew to Canada at the first occasion in order to avoid going back to Iraq (It's not secret information; it was on all major european magazines), which tells a lot on how efficient the US Army has become of late.
Last but not least, i keep hearing of US citizens wanting to kick all immigrates etc etc. Not that i am against it in many cases (go read my other posts around and you'll see i am far from being SOFT with immigration issues) but can you explain us all one thing you may have forgotten about?
If you in the US begin to kick away all of the immigrates of all nationalities....what should all the countries guesting American Citizens who are there permanently for work, family, economic issues do? Not to mention those who are in the military and occupy acres of lands in foreign countries and always excluding those who are currently around the world scrounging natural resources from other countries to allow you to get your living standards?
One thing you should understand is....the IMMIGRATION PROCESS IN THE US IS NOT UNILATERAL....There are also MANY MANY MANY US CITIZENS moving out of the US and going to other countries.
If i were you, instead of trying to force IMMIGRATES to serve the Army, i'd find a way to kick out all those who don't share the American values (provided you still have some), especially those belonging to certain religious communities, whom, sooner or later will begin to ask for rights and things you may not like.
do you really want immigrants to serve in the army? OK, then enroll Muslims and the like to invade Iraq, Pakistan...
In your country, who is/was not an immigrant or does not have any immigrant ancestors? What makes your country great, if not these immigrants? If what you stated became a law then every immigrant descendant should follow that law, too.

just remember that US was built by immigrants , unless you are native American which i doubt you are a descendant of immigrants as well , i wonder what your ancestors would think of your views

I have never heard of anything more ridiculous. First of, you have demeaned service in the armed forces by having forced recruitment of newly minted immigrants. It should be an honor to serve your country and NOT forced labor. Second, you have created a 2nd class of citizens whose rights are limited and movements restricted. This is reminiscent of the use of the 'passbooks' in apartheid South Africa and Jewish ghettos in nazi occupied Europe. Third, you forget (or are simply not aware) that immigration is a way to develop good foreign relations with other countries. This allows our business interest and citizens abroad to flourish. The same restrictions placed on immigrants to the U.S. can also be placed on citizens/business interest abroad. With the creation of the EU, high opportunities in Asia and future market capabiliites in other countries, we cannot have US economic interests suffer. The domestic market alone is not sufficient to maintain/generate wealth of the country.
