As an American Citizen, how to protest a law?

How would you suggest an American citizen tell the government if a law is iniquitous? The Government was created under the basis that it is by the society, and for them, but many of our laws are put into place by the few people within power without asking the people. I know that almost every American would not pay faultless taxes(Federal Income Tax), yet we cannot do anything to change it.
First, we have a say in what law are passed. We elect our representatives in both the State and Federal government. If you do not like a tenet, petition the government for redress by writing a letter, protesting, and making your voice heard. Realisticly, 1 soul is not going to make a difference, unless that one person can get others to weave their cause. of course you can absolutely exchange it. Run candidates who want to change the law, get hold of the elected, then they can change the law.

Or even more directly, anyone can start a constitutional amendment. If the empire vote to eliminate income tax, it shall be done.

It is all up to you (us) You can metamorphosis anything you want as long as the majority agree.

BTW the USA is a representative government (study harder in school) and we elect people to vote law for us. That is our choice.

Stop being a victim and express yourself. VOTE.
If it is to be, it is up to thee.
1. Write a letter to respectively of your legislators
2. Vote for different people in the next see & help those who share your views to campaign for bureau
3. Propose OTHER IDEAS.
4. Do your research so that you can present those alternatives to others.
As one person, won't work. The Govern., requests us to stay busy with our lives and careers - so we won't look closely at "really" what is going on in this country and how much we are LETTING them acquire away with. It sickens to me to think of what the world is coming too. Sometimes I wonder............... would Canada be better? My research says yes. I love America, but it's gone down the tubes .................and keep on goin' There really isn't much we can do .The federal federal courts have ruled the people no longer have a right to petition for redress of grievances .The federal income tariff has been proven illegal .Today our elected official ignore their sworn oath to support the constitution .The are but hallow words of a ceremony which have no meaning .They also will say aloud one thing to get elected then do what ever they want once surrounded by office and forget about all the battle promises they made to get their .We have a broken ,corrupt system that will get worse until we can hold our elected official responsible for their actions .The best thing people can do is be informed of their rights as jurors and find ancestors not guilty in courts .Its called jury nullification .You can find information about juror rights at fully informed jury association or the American jury institute on file
The laws of the United States are made by the Congress. Both the House of Representatives and the Senate must agree on the regulation. The laws are not put into place by "the few people in power" but by the elected representatives. If you aim to a law you should contact your senator or your representative and tell them how you feel. They are the individual ones who can change it. If they are contacted by a lot of people who want something changed they are liable to do it. It's the culture who put them in the office.

Remember, when you refer to the "Government", almost everything reduces down to departments, branches, office, and finally people. The "Government" doesn't exist, the people employed by the government do. In the suitcase of the congress, it's the senators and representatives. You say that you know almost every American would not pay Income Tax. If that is so they can freshly vote people into office who would do away with the Income Tax. The spanking new people in office would afterwards have to figure our a way to nouns the government without taxes.
You can protest the law adjectives you want as long as you do not break the law.

If you REALLY want to change the law, you break it. Then you plead not guilty because the decree is Unconstitutional. They will try you and find you guilty. Then you appeal it all the way up to the Supreme Court of the USA. If they agree with you, you acquire off and the law is no longer valid.
