How can i tell if i am being tracked by my employer while on the intenet?

You need to newly assume you are if you are using the internet that is your employer's. Most companies do track all usage of the internet on their premises. In most cases you will never know. There is software out now that an employer can install that can monitor your PC remotely. Be terrifically careful what you do!
Just assume that you are and don't do anything on the internet that you wouldn't mind them being privy to. The internet connections you enjoy at work, including your e-mail at work are not protected by any kind of privacy laws. They have the right to check and monitor adjectives of your activities on the computer. Due to legal issues of employees using unofficial programs and websites, many employers have a program that tracks usage. It is permitted since they own the computer. Also legal to fire you if caught doing things other than work on their time and computer.
If your using the internet to do you job then you have nought to worry about. Just don't be playing poker and video games on company time.
Try to ask...or inquire through other employees. It's pretty hard to report to if you're being tracked or not.
