the government hasn't found a passageway to tax it yet. trust me as soon as they can corner the market, control growing and amount out the proper way to tax it, they will legalize it surrounded by a heartbeat. it's all about the money
that's just the method it has been and they can't really change it immediately, fundamentally it wouldn't change things that much because people are going to use it all the time and the organization can't do anything about it. it doesn't really make sense.
It's simple. The government can't put a tax on it. This is because it is extremely easy to grow. They can't control the production, so they wouldn't know how to tax it. Alcohol, however, is much harder to make, so they keep it trial. A lot of people think that it's illegal because it 'ruins lives' or it is unhealthy- which it doesn't by the channel. But if that was true, alcohol would be illegal.
TRUE! they both impair ur judgment and honestly alcohol is worse that cannabis when it comes to impairing ur judgment. Its of late a government issue. I bet if they could charge taxes for it they wouldn't make it illegal.

It's tradition for cannabis to be illegal. Plus as long as cannabis is illegal and a human being gets caught then the lawyers and courts will get hold of a lot of money. If it becomes legal next the courts lose all that money.
This is what happen when you try to use the law to force morality.
I ask myself that question so much. So masses crimes are committed because someone has a drinking problem or is drunk, car accidents, domestic antagonism, theft, unplanned pregnancies...... what has someone that smokes weed done? They don't want to hurt anyone, they want to go achieve some food. Eat then go to sleep.
for the money! if you buy an ounce of pot for 100 the court can give you a ticket of 1000+ bucks if your caught. i think the not individual able to tax it is bs cause tabacco is tax and its a plant. alcohol is legal cause its very cheap and comfortable to make even in your home within hours so the gov took profit of this and slapped taxs on it and put it on shelves. underage drinking is a big money maker for the gov too.
