Staying out after curfew, truancy, driving under the influence, being caught surrounded by possession of a controlled substance, theft, assault and battery, vandalism, etc. The probation is usually from 6 months to two years. This depends on the jurisdiction and that jurisdictions available juvenile remedies. It vary widely from state to state.
You may bring a probabtion sentence for any minor crime...grafitti, shoplifting assault, prostitution or whatever. The length of the sentence will depend on the crime and the judge. You MAY return with probation if you deserve it...probabtion is not always given. So if you are contemplating anything...don't do it. If you shop Wal-Mart, you can see, on any given day, shoplifters being arrested. You will wrapping up up in jail, at least until you provide a bond, you don't want to run there!!!!!! A small item worth say $15-$20 will cost you thousands if you get caught...bondsman, attorney and court costs not to mention your loss of reputation and probably your job.
