fell walking out of the elevator in the mall?
My mom fell today at the mall when she was getting out of the elevator . there be pasta all over there . she hurt her knee preety desperate and strained her back . She's refusing to go to the hospital since she doesn't hold insurance. Is the mall in anyway responsible for her bills? I do think she wants medical attention and it's really dangerous for the floor to be so unsafe especially in an area where on earth people are in and out at all times. we'r glad shes not seriously injured . A payment report was filed. any advice would be contentedly appriciated and for those who who would get the wrong idea of us havin intention to make money of this consequently no we just want her covered for this injury not tryin to be rude but i read some questions I searched and culture just assume and give harsh remarks :( Thank You!

The company who own the shopping precinct aren't liable if they took reasonable steps to remove the mess- so you would need to prove someone know about the risk and failed to do anything about it to get any sort of the gift. Often in cases like this, the mall or company or whoever would settle, but since her injury wasn't that serious they are more feasible to ignore you and hope you forget it. To be honest, unless she is very seriously hurt (I mean paralysed or something) afterwards its probaly cheaper and easier to just handle it yourself than to deal beside the legalities. I'm sorry your Mum was hurt, and I hope her knee gets better. If not, please aim medical attention, free clinic or something, your can't put a price on pain!
If she is in the USA no emergency room can refuse to treat her immediate wishes. She should have went straight to the ER and gotten checked out. Not to be rude, but getting the mall to clear her bills now that time has passed will most likely transport an attorney. Regardless, if you have money for a computer, you have money to at least lift her for a visit to the nearest ER. As far as gas goes. And the mall have it's right to refuse to pay and insist you take it to court. A shopping precinct is full of people, stores and food. People spill stuff. Had the spill just happened and not a soul knew of it, they were not grossly negligent. Odds are some teeny bopper spilled some food and only left it for whoever, not caring who it affected. Or some other uncaring person. And there is a thing call shared responsibility in the law. You do have to look where on earth you walk. I would bet when she walks down the street she looks to see where she is going and the obstacle in her path prior to taking that step. And one normally looks to see if others are trying to enter the elevator to brand sure they do not run into people. And by people I mean adjectives heights. So a quick look out would have prevented a decline. So she may only get a portion of her bills paid within a court of law if it were to come to that. A judge or jurors can establish her med bills be paid, it be reduced. or toss it out all together. Time is of the essence. She must obtain medical precision in a reasonable time frame to even have a kismet at reimbursment. Were it my mom, I would insist she go and then sell what I have to or work to help her pay the bills. A lot cheaper than taking care of her full time when she cannot work at adjectives because she unwisely let her injuries progress to a point where they did not heal. At that stage, you will be the one working while she is surrounded by bed. And then you will have to go to court for reimbursment.
If you get it documented by a report, you need to call Larry H. Parker, it's the mall's responsibility to act promptly contained by remedying a slip hazard like that. Many lawyer's will work on contingency on a case approaching this, call one.
For those not familiar with Larry, he's a "slip n fall" attorney that's been "successful in 91% of his cases". "He'll fight for you" ! (not affiliated near "Larry H. Parker)
