if someone needs a lawyer?


can you hire one only in a certain nouns or can u hire one from any state. for example you get in trouble in ohio and live in attendance can you get a representive from va. i know it will probably be more expensive but you know how usually the lawyer and court are all within together and it seems you just don't get a fully clad ruling.

Some lawyers are licensed in more than one state. Not all, by any vehicle, but some. It doesn't matter where they live. It matters where on earth they are licensed. It is also very foolish to hire a lawyer who is not familiar near local customs, the attitude of the judges, the practices of the DA and such, but that wast not your question. It is also possible to hire a lawyer who is not licensed contained by your state who can then petition the court to appear for one specific case. In some states, they must associate with a local licensed attorney and so the cost is double and the effectiveness is reduced, but that is your choice.
If the lawyer isn't licensed to practice contained by the State where he or she wants to appear, the lawyer can merely appear on behalf of a client if admitted to practice pro hac vice (which means for this one time only). Each State has its own rules for who can be admit on a pro hac basis, and the procedure for doing so. Yes, it will make the whole entity a lot more expensive.
