What is the CA wage penalty?
On my check stub, there is a section titled CA wage penalty. I thought this portion had something to do with a person working more next 5 but less than 6 hrs with out a lunch. I used to get extra hours on my check because of this, but they started subtracting hours to brand name up for the ones they gave me. Now, my job is just taking extra hours out of my check and charging me this cost. What did I do?

They can't do that. the "law" says they either have to earnings you or let you take a 1/2 hr. lunch after 5 hours of work, plus a 10 minute break (paid) during those 5 hours. And, they can't deduct money from your check do they f''ed up. They have to get your approval before mitt. Talk to a labor lawyer. look them up on the net.
