Do you think they should make pot legal?
Of course it should be legal. Pot doesn't kill anyone while alcohol and tobacco kills millions.
Yes
Yes. Although I don't smoke it, (tried it as a kid) I think it is less dangerous than drinking. If it makes you feel good then do it. Also it does have some medical value.
Everything is legal until somebody misuses the liberty then it becomes illegal for everyone, except of course, royal immunity. - Lord Harris 1890
weed should have been legalized the government grows it right here in america just like columbia grows tobacco so just sell pot as if it was cigarettes or beer and make their profits i will take a pack of tie stick or do u have monkey paw have a great day.
Of course not. Cigarettes, alcolhol and pot should be illegal to save stupids like you from killing yourself.
It's non-addicting, non-fatal, and doesn't cause exaggerated or violent behavior.
There's really no reason to make it illegal, let alone to put it in the same category as heroin.
It should be treated like tobacco or alcohol.
It used to be legal, then some idiot decided to save the world. Major marketing mistake. Yes it should.
Answer:
yes it should be regulated like alchohol and heavily taxed - 21 to buy it - controlled THC levels - education as to how to use it responsibly - for the last 40 years it has been smoked by the majority of US citizens - you have those who like it and those who dont - you have those (the same as alchohol )who use it responsibly and those that dont - I personally am not a fan but I have friends who like it - and they are just normal people with jobs (a lot of times high paying ones ) who smoke it .
Absolutely. But it should be 'Hemp should be legalized'. Often the circumstances surrounding an event tells more than the event itself. Cannabis was made illegal by virtue of an excessive tax, under the foreign word 'marihuana', because of the horrifying crimes committed by people under it's influence. Within a year ALL hemp came under the prohibition. What is not mentioned is that Hemp as a textile was poised to re-emerge on the market in year 8 of the Great Depression. This would have broken the southern lock on cotton, shifting some of that income outside the south. also, it would have taken some of DuPont's market share by competing with nylon and because of it's high cellulose content (10 times more than corn) it would have been a challenge to the fossil fuel industry.
As for the high THC varieties, they were officially blamed for the creation of 2 genres of music that corrupted the mind and tore down the moral fiber of the nation; those were 'Jazz' and 'Rock and Roll'.
Yes, I do....
I think there should be regulations and taxes put on it though. I don't think you should be able to drive or go to work while stoned... but I think what we do in our free time is our business... and it's non of anyone elses *especailly big brother*
