People that are not competent, need guardians and should not be put in Control capacity Back when we have more common sense we required a person know how to read and understand our dialogue. What we need to stop all this election engineering, is to merely let those that take an exam for reasonable awareness of what is going on around them. When a being is recovering from a seizure, they are asked " what day is this"? "who is the president" "where do you live"? and other question like that, why? because it tells the medics that person have become 'aware' again and can be ok again on their own for their own safety. Not so our crippled and wanting government, nowhere in the constitution does it voice that the people have a right to vote, only the reassurance of checks and set off, and the pursuit of happiness, and not any guarantee of finding it or utopia. cherrybe, you know that I knew minors don't vote, it be just an apt comparrison example. If we had some sort of litmus test to be able to vote... I'm thinking specifically one right you would lose. Like they say, watch what you wish for. And, by the bearing, where in the Articles or Amendments to the Constitution are we guaranteed a right to "the pursuit of happiness" ?? The constitution does outline the criteria for citizens who can vote.
in good health i dont know about mental patients, but minors cant vote. you dont vote until 18 years.
Only people of lawful residence and a tax paying status should be allowed a say in administration, they need to be able to be aware with some view of what they are voting for. They could be assigned a number good for only one vote, and accepted when duly registered.
Voting is not an important decision. It doesn't matter who get elected; we still get someone concerned more about themselves and their careers than almost their constituents.
Those in control want the ignorant to vote so they can stay contained by power. Look at many of our Representatives........they are so off kilter they cannot even figure out their sexual category and are sexually confused. I think if you are confused about something that basic you should not be surrounded by charge of anything.
