54 million dollar lawsuit over a pair of pants?
Have they come to a conclusion yet?
Any judge who would hear a frivolous case of this type should himself be disbarred. Waste of mine and your taxes.
Oh gosh, this is such a ridiculous case, what a joke
OMG OMG….Wait….OMG….If this dumb *** wins 54 million dollars for a lost and now found pair of pants that are only worth a few hundred dollars…..I’m moving to Canada. This guy is a real nut job and if anyone should be getting money are the owners of the dry cleaning business for emotional damage and I assume lost of time and legal fees which are not going to be cheap. I can only imagine the emotional roller-coaster ride these people are going through right now. I can’t believe this case is still alive, you think that if a well educated judge that gets his or her hands in a case like this would just laugh and drop the bomb on this guy. The dumb *** was even offered his stupid pants back and thousands of dollars from the dry cleaning people but he doesn’t want it. That right there my friends shows me how money hungry and malevolent this dirty judge is. If he wanted his pants so bad why not take it back and forget it or better yet take the money and buy a closet full of the same pants he so loves. My guess is that this guy knows the law because he is a judge and I think he studied this very well for any flaws to see how he could get easy money, he used the law for his evil needs. I’m keeping an eye out for this case.
The evidence has been presented for both sides but the judge will be giving her ruling sometime next week. He's most likely going to lose most of his case (although he will probably earn some minor amount for the cost of his pants). Unfortunately, he will probably appeal, so it will not be truly 'over' until the District of Columbia Court of Appeals (DC's highest court) most likely upholds the judge's decision. Sad but true.
Answers:
No but this guy needs to be fired from his administrative judge position for the costs he is putting on the justice system with this worthless lawsuit.
