Can I enroll for school if I've moved out (at 17)?
In the state of Texas under the Texas Attorney General Opinion GA - 0125 it is determined that an "unemancipated" 17 year old may not be reported as missing if the parents know the child's whereabouts.
But if I move to another school district can I enroll for university there, seeing as I am an unemancipated minor?
yes you can, but be prepared to prove that you are actually living there and responsible.
