When feminists fight for equal rights?
do they fight for women to be treated equally in the justice system? Meaning, women obtain diagnosed with PPD quite frequently when they murder their children, in extreme cases. Well men who do something resembling that obviously can't claim PPD. So women usually get off easier. So for equal rights, doesn't that aim equal punishment? BTW-I am female! PPD is just an example. It's like race are prone to be believe that women just could not be evil, only men. I agree 100% consrgreat

No they exchange blows to get EXTRA rights....or equal with special extras.....a woman walks up to a man and go to punch him..if the man defends himself it is still considered foul play in hitting a woman...personally I consistency if They want equal rights and walk up and threaten a man they have an equal right to get knock on their butts...
This is really a classic question and answer. Women and Men. Its this simple. Women and Men according the feminists should be equal. So they should work construction, logging, factory, and every job that requires strength. So if a woman can lift up 10 logs a day and a man can lift 20, the woman should be paid equal. This is the crap that feminists influence should happen. If you are a feminist then you are a liberal and everything should be equal. Women should be able to work on crabbing vessel just like the show deadliest catch. HOW COME THERE ARE NO WOMEN?!?!?!? hmmm must be nouns. Or the fact that the female body was made for have kids, not for working 36 hour shifts hauling crab. AM I WRONG?!?!? any female that has a problem with this i promise you that you cant do it. It's funny to see this question here. It remeinds me of a college course I took in the region of 2 years ago. It was an "Ethics" class and we read a lot of the great philosophers, like Neitzshe, Kant, etc... (personally I'm more of a Ayn Rand kinda chick) and he and I have a 20 minute argument one day because he told me that as a woman I should be a feminist and wear that badge proudly. I told him I know my beliefs and I don't need to sign myself with any "badge" for that. It went on and on. He told me he was a proud feminist and that any woman that isn't is allowing herself to be... um... can't remember how he put it but essentially held down by the man, LOL! Then when I told him that I think minority groups, including feminists take things too far and it turns the corner to reverse descrimination, he got so angry I thought his person in charge would explode! Can you imagine? A grown man; a well know professor at several of my area school in CT, acting like that? Ridiculous! Ok, sorry about the rant but everyone else be putting in their 2 cents so I thought I would too, LOL! As for you question, I believe there is no such entry as true equality. All we can hope for is to live in a society where every person considers respectively individual's situation equally. A society where people are compensated equally for equal work, that sort of thing. It's ironic really, most liberals are so focussed on individual rights but they don't whip into consideration that by generalizing everyone into one "equal" group they are completely contradicting their own agenda. Equal rights does for the most part also mean equal even-handedness but thanks to our justice system that is difficult to complete. Our justice system is all about money (for the most piece. There are a few good eggs left, I'm sure. I just haven't see any yet). Each side hires a lawyer, which they pay a ton of money to "represent" them and win the case. So the attorney twists and turns all the facts like puzzle pieces to create a picture that is most agreeable to their own clients casing. Of course the opposing attourney does the same thing but manipulate the puzzle piees to create a picture that benefits their case. Our justice system has become a affray of finances and wits between the lawyers and leaves justice on the sidelines. It's a joke really. (Sorry, I could step on and on abut this one, LOL!)

Let's see....who got pregnant? The woman did. Who carried the baby for nine months inside of her? The woman did. Who had adjectives the health problems and the hormones that related to her pregnancy? The woman did. Who went through all the anguish of delivery? The women did. Who is breastfeeding the baby? The woman does. The woman's body does all of that! And to be precise why some women get postpartum depression...it can go with the kingdom of giving birth. Because of this valid illness, they can be given lenient treatment in a court of ruling. What exactly was the male contribution? Five minutes of pleasure and one squirt of semen. He didn't risk his body at all, nor did he enjoy the pain, nor did he have all the hormones that be associated with pregnancy. So does that sound EQUAL to you? Was the male contribution equal to the womanly contribution? If and when men can get pregnant, carry a baby to possession, deliver it, and then breast feed it...then they will be equal to a woman and entitled to a safety of postpartum depression! But not until then! And you can talk about equal rights adjectives you like...but women still get paid smaller quantity then men...and it is still women who get pregnant and have to convey the baby to term...and it is still women who die in pregnancy and child birth, not men. So, where on earth exactly is the equality?
