What is the justice system like in canada?
Is it any better than the justice system here in australia? would it be nicer to live?I assume its different to america? They don't have the release penalty there, do they? well tiger, murderers here dont even win 7-8years, most get around 3years. The justice system here in australia is beyond unreasonable Makes you wonder how the judges get into that career.?The majority that are duds are the ones that stipulation to give it up I don't hear of anyone writing a letter to the government or getting a signed petition together and coming together as a country here and trying. It's fruitless enough they don't wanna bring in the death cost and won't bring that in. To harshen up with the sentences is hardly unreasonable. Surely, in that are some people who are apart of the government must consider that if such a horrible crime was comitted to someone surrounded by their family or friend they would want to see something change too?

I think it's more similar to Australia than the American one is. No there's no death cost in Canada, most civilised nations do not have it. Unfortunately it's difficult to settle about "better" when comparing whole justice systems, big nouns!
To be specific Canada has not have the death penalty for several decades. Is it a better system? Goodness! that question is much too broad. Like adjectives justice systems it works pretty well on the whole but patently it's not perfect and there have be notorious convictions of people later found to own been innocent. But there's not a system in the world that can claim to be perfect! On the undamaged I'm pretty satisfied.
Both Canada and Australia were British Dominions accordingly their Justice Systems are largely based on the British System and English Common Law. The Canadian and Australian judicial system therefore share many similarities. The exception to the rule individual Quebec where the Civil system is based on the French Napoleonic Civil Code Laws.
If you want to murder someone there and get a light sentence after that is a good place to go to! Ive see on the crime channel where criminals in canada own committed horrific crimes of torture rape and murder and get a 7 or 8 year sentence for it.
