Can I get unemployment if I was not fired?
Last night at work one of my managers was spreading rumors around me to other co-workers and when i asked her if she did this she was screaming in my face and yell at me so I said I left because I felt threatened. She told my General manager that I walk out because of another reason so its an automatic fire. I was wrongly "fired" is there anyway I can still collect dismissal?
Best Answer:
If you were wrongly fired, you can take it to a tribunal. Get some legal suggestion from your local Citizens Advice Bureau about how to do this.
Got to your state employment agency and file a complaint stating you were harassed~it would abet to have evidence`~but walking out will give your ex boss more leverage~~but you must stick up for your rights. Good Luck
First thing I would do is talk to the general checker and present your side of the story. They may reconsider the decision to fire you,. But if they don't, file for job loss anyway. They may contest it, and you would have the right to appeal.
I believe there is a possibility that you can, but talk to your local unemployment bureau.
yes, get a legal representative
