My boss is trying to get me fired! Help!?


My employer is an a-hole and he has tried to get me fired by telling his bosses that I did not come backbone \or call after I had surgery on my knee. Well I did phone up and wrote a letter had it mailed to him via registered communication. He tells me I cannot come back because there are no positions available wiht my limitations. What do I do telephone my union or get another job?

Have papers to prove the hours of daylight of your surgery. Get your phone record for out going calls showing the day which you call. Get the tracking number for the letter you sent and have that ready. Contact the grouping and WRITE DOWN what you will tell them. The union should give you a advocate who will see if you have a case for wrongful dismissal or not. If you have a suitcase then you can either follow through and sue them or you can show the paper work to the boss and hope he back off. If he doesnt back off and you run out up going to court. You most likely wont get your job put a bet on but will probably be awarded a settlement. If the boss is bothered by your knee operation and sees that as a limitation to your aptitude to work then you wil need to provide proof that the surgery does not limit you. If you walk to court, You will most likely need to find another job.
let him give you a apposite reason why he does not want you back in writing and afterwards go and collect employment !!!!

Those little buggers will try to do that. Have everything in writing and maintain all of your doctor's notes. I was out of work the day after my supervisor became office planner because she did not like me. Basically, THOSE people can do whatever they want and capture away with it because the people above them are bigger *holes. It must be nice to be on top. Try the union first.
