What happens when you get charged with carrying a concealed weapon in the state of Nevada?

the situation: charged with carrying concealed weapon, what woud be the punishment for this? it was also stated that it is a Gross misdeameanor. Could more charges be added to the original charge? also what difference would that add to the punishment if the defendant was out of state? Any suggestions from experienced DA, judges, police, law officials, lawyers??
