My brother is a year behind on child support. He just got a steady job and just started paying up.?

Is there a arrest warrant for his arrest or will they make a sweep? (California) How can you find out?
I think it would depend on whether the guardian/parent of the child decides to transport action upon him. Until then he shouls contact the Child Support agency and speak with them or ask a advocate for some advice, just in armour. But they probably will back track and make him catch up eventually.
Good luck! to be honest,i don't know why he isn't contained by jail.in pa you fail to payment your in jail in 90 days .i agree beside this.why should the tax payers have to pay for his child? here are way to many fatherless kids around.
if the parents went through court and he wasn't paying her directly then probably but if he be paying her she would have to tell the courts and then in attendance would be a warrant that way but he might just call the local police station because if he does enjoy a warrant don't freak out because all it is is a short jail stay until he can go surrounded by front of a judge then he can tell him or her his story and they would probably be nonjudgmental. He should call the child support enforcement agency who his handles his case. They can recount him what legal action they have taken. Typically, they will suspend his license previously issuing a warrant. He should make payments in addition to what he is ordered to recompense to catch up on arrears.
"in pa you backfire to pay your in jail within 90 days"

my god, they still have debtors prisons?
As long as he started paying ge should be good
