Why should drugs be illegal? and why should drugs be legal?
im doing a four page report. (2 pages on why drugs should be illegal and 2 pages on why they should be legal).
I obligation a lot of information on each and i am taking everyones answers and putting them into a poll sort of thing.
Drugs should be improper because they're bad. On the other hand though, they should be legal because they're fun.
Although I enjoy never done drugs I believe that people should have the opportunity to do what they want. Why is it ok for me to tell someone else what to do near their life? If they want to do drugs, it should be none of my buisness, unless they are harming me. Leagalize drugs, make them available at Sanctioned locations, Tax the heck out of them, and hold on to them safe. It is the only logical solution. Some recreational drugs are already legal - alcohol and tobacco. Some ethnic group conveniently forget or ignore this fact, or try to make unconvincing arguments that they're somehow "different" to other drugs. Hogwash.
One of the most recent studies publish by The Lancet placed alcohol and tobacco surrounded by the top ten of drugs most harmful to one's health, above many of the so-called "class A" substances and unfair drugs.
I have no complaint about controlling access to drugs (e.g. age limits) but what I object to is other society dictating to me what I can and cannot put into my body.
