How do you get the government to make a law?

Careful now, seems like congress (on both the state and federal level) is making adjectives sorts of laws, the majority of which are just different versions of law already in the books.

Having said that, your new canon has to be put into bill form, it must follow the guidelines for writting a bill. It should reflect a need for the imperative, give a few examples, and clearly define the penalty for breaking that statute.

And then you have to gather support for the bill from state or federal represntatives (which ever applies) contained by order to get the bill up for a vote to hear it on the floor.
Become a lawmaker, know a legislator or give lots of money to a lawmaker. The senate passes a bill.
