What does eugenics have to do with anything?

Eugenics is a famous pseudo-science that essentially said if you were an undesirable then the govt should have the right to sterilize you because your kids would be undesirable. Of course the most notorious example was the Holocaust but most ignore that it was going on surrounded by the U.S. until during the '70s. Seriously try reading about it. It is really pretty sad.
