What will happen to me if i break a gag order i signed with insurance company regarding details of the case?

i recieved a settlement in mediation,it was due to a load of lies and no support or help,from my lawyer, i settled fearing if i go further i may not be able to fight all the corporate lies.

With whom did you break the gag order, the news media? Who did you speak to about this case? Have they, in turn, discussed it with anyone else, or have they kept it a secret? If no one else knows, it's no problem.

Actually 'punishment' should have been listed in detail in the contract you signed. You'll probably be fined from the court (could be as much of or even more than you actually receied). Depends on how big of a deal it is, how long ago it was and how much damage you will/did cause. Of course, either way, it's probably not going to pay for you to spill the beans, that's why they had you sign it. :)

All such settlement ' gag orders ' I have seen ,specify within the agreement the legal/financial consequences of violating the 'gag order' .I am surprised thgat your's does not appear to spell out the conserquences.
