Florida Bright Futures scholarship and felony charge?
I'm a sophomore in high school and be charged with a 3rd degree felony during my freshman year. I have read that your not eligible for the grant if you have plead guilty, been charged, or tried for a felony charge. I was wondering does this still apply if I get the charge expunged. thanks
If its expunged, then it should be alright.

Yes it does apply. A friend of mine had a felony expunged and was competent to receive the scholarship, so you should be ok. I would definitely check with a guidance counselor though, newly to be sure.
