what are the laws against an adult who is dating a minor?
my friend is 15 and she wants to know because she is with an adult. what are the law in all the states about this? they are not have sex or sexual contact or stuff like that.

There is no law against dating - only against sex. Of course, in that can be no tobacco or alcohol provided to the child, by the adult, either. But, it is legal. I interrogate her parents' judgment greatly for letting this happen.
dating a minor is one thing..have sex with a minor is another thing..the latter could end up someone surrounded by jail..
