What happens when a minor gets posession...?

Ok, If a minor gets possession of alcohol what are the estimated fines? Also, can you lose your license? The cop said I can lose my license for 3 months? Any info. please give me!! Thanks!
when i recieved my MIP when i was 18, recieved a 300 dollar fine, and to top it off i be given 6 hour of AA classes that I had to pay for. Then to really piss me off they give me an additional 10 hours of community service. So after paying for the AA classes it came out to be about 400 dollars worth of fines, and ten hours for community service plus 6 hour of AA i have to attend. Needless to say, I had no priors or anything on my record it be my first offence. But on a more positive note it was the best beer i ever have lol
you are gonna be one of those people picking up trash on the side of the hiway on saturdays My boyfriend just have to pay court fees($50 in NM), and was sent to jury duty for a couple hours. He didn't attain his license revoked, but laws are different in other states.
The fines and license restrictions will vary depending on where you are (State/County/Country). Its going to be up to the authority that you see and how convincing you can come cross while in front of him/her. It also depends on if the judge is having a polite day or not, lol. Try to dress appropriately, admit what you did is wrong, and assure the judge you won't do it again. You won't put your foot away without punishment, but it could be a lot worse if you go within with an attitude and looking like a street thug.
depends on what state you are within, every state has different laws, but it is a really minor offense, but they prob will suspend your license court dates, probation, fines, reporting.......... profusely of trouble. Well thats how it is in michigan........
In florida you would be fined $250-500 with bal .08 or highly developed for a minor not less than $500 or more than $1000-Communtiy service for 50 hrs-probation not more than 1 year-imprisonment not more than 9 months since your a minor, lecense revocation minimum 180 days-dui school 12 hrs, ignition interlock device up to 6 months...whatever you capture good luck, hope for the best
yep, actually contained by some states you can lose your license until 18, even if you weren't driving. But, its not the end of the world. you'll likely have to step to some form of anti-alcohol meeting, and do some community service (you know when you see the kids on the side of the road picking up trash on sat. mornings - yep, thats gonna be you...) Well I'm 16 and I was charged near underage drinking. I'm pretty sure that all the charges are they same because on my citation it said " attempt to purchase or transport alcohol". And we asked the magistrate about it and he said its the same piece as an underage. but anyways i got my citation in the mail something like 5 days later. I had the option to pilfer alcohol classes or pay a 418 dollar fine. I just chose to pay the fine, but when I go up to drop off the money , which was yesterday, I asked the lady if near was any way I could prevent my license from being suspended. She said to plead not guilty and set up a audible range with the judge and he might not suspend my license. So I ended up not have to pay the fine on the spot but I'm sure ill have to after the court date and such. This be in Pa and It was my first offense btw
