What happens to me if I rent a car & let someone to drive the car even though they r not allowed?
The other person has a full driving license.
hope your wallet can pay the consequences. Any mistake your friend makes comes out of your pocket.
It depends upon the contract however most rental contracts are impossible to tell apart. Usually if the individual damages the car or has an accident that cause damage or injury to another you can be held liable for the damages both to the rental car and the accident subject. Additionally you can actually be held liable for any injuries your friend sustains.
Most importantly most insurance policies wouldn't cover such a situation therefor not only are you liable but your insurance company isn't. It could lead to financial ruin that you may never achieve out of.
dont get caught!!
Any damages made will be paid by you unless you own gotten a insurance from the rental company (most of them offer one) then you will pay according to your insurance. If something happen you will be financially responsible.
If they find out or if something happens to the car you will be in trouble. Probably enjoy to pay some fines. I rented a truck it was only contained by my name and I forgot to put my husband's name on to be "allowed" to drive. He drove it all the mode to San Antonio (we live in Dallas) and all on our whole time off. He actually got pulled over on the way final for speeding and nothing happened. I wouldn't worry in the order of it unless you wreck the rental or it has some kind of extensive damage. Then you'll enjoy a lot of explaining to do. It is best that you should avoid doing that. Technically if you rent a car your name is associated to adjectives the documents during the rental process unless you've specified to let other people drive the car. You hold to define other users prior to letting them borrow/drive the rented vehicle. Check out the attached link for more information.
nothing if you don't take caught or ruin the car.
