What is a good way to raise money for a court case???

My parents are suing me for custody of my kid. No I am not abusive in any way, it is a power trip for them and they dislike my husband whom I hold been married for 12 years... Anyway, is there a easy channel to raise money asap? We need the help and an attorney is 5 noble, we dont have even close. Matters are complicated as it is a cross state issue
I would not be to worried if I were you. Your parents would have to have rock solid proof of persistent abuse and neglect for the court to take your child. It sounds awful that you only just say of "of my kid". I am guessing there is a whole lot more to this story than they only dislike your hubby. You could try legal aid if that is available in your state or try your local university's ruling dept. to see if any of their staff or students could at least give you an opinion on how to proceed. Maybe your attorney now will accept payments? Best of luck to you.

Attorneys are also supposed to thieve cases for people who cannot afford one. It's part of the oath they take, and it's also part of a set of their cannons that they accept cases even if it is for less than the ancestors can afford.
