How long do I have to wait before getting rid of someone's personal property that they left on my land in ky.?

I believe its 30 days, but you should give them a written notice and send it certified, keep a copy!

Your best bet would be to call the police and check with them. A guy I know from Indiana sold a truck for scrap that had been sitting on his property for 6 months. He ended up getting in trouble for theft because he sold it -- the police told him the correct thing would have been for him to call them and they would have had it towed. I realize more than likely your ex's personal property is clothes and such -- but it definitely wouldn't hurt to call the non-emergency police line and check with them.
