How long does it take for the police to act?
I have reported and given details of someone i know who used fake documents to get a job and opened a bank account in the UK.
It has been over 8 months now and the person is still going about and enjoying financial assistance from the bank, which will eventually pay dearly by granting a huge loan.
how long does it take the police to investigate such issues?
They just aren't bothered mate, this sort of thing smells of work to them
They may have him/her under surveillance - ring the police back and ask them for an update alternatively contact CID direct
you may get a quicker response by alerting the Tax department. it's more their cup of tea, as it were.
In a perfect world they would act instantly. Unfortunately they are already overstretched, and this would not be considered a high priority crime, so I wouldn't hold my breath. Try calling Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 or contact the bank personally. I just hope you're not doing this for malicious reasons.
The Police! Act! they are probably driving this person to work.
the police? well if you'd said he was driving drunk they would be right on it. They know nothing about bank accounts and such. Call the FBI
Answer:
The police (as in police officers) cant do anything about this, they will report it to the fraud department and it will be progressed from there. They have to have proof, they cant just take your word for it, so they are probably watching said person and monitoring what they do. This would take some time.
You should know you keep asking this question
What a grass you are, this person got a job right, you can't condemn someone for that!
depends how long the play is and if there are lots of big words
