Shouldn't that Jewish man with the deadly TB strain, travelling to spread his disease, be seen as a terrorist?

Are the Atlanta Health Authorities not tried to quaratine him in the first place because he was a wealthy asshole? They knew ablout his case; they knew he wanted to travel; they knew that he was being treated by many drugs that didn't work. All they did is to tell this asshole that he can travel by wearing a mask? The asshole kew what he got & took the advantage of travelling through so many nations to spead his deadly disease! Why is he only now quarantined - after the fact that he has spread his germs in so many countries?

Why is the media so afraid to reveal his name &identity, & the actual flights he was in? Do rich assholes here in America treated differently than other contagious disease carriers?

That man knew that he would be spreading his deadly disease. He knew that he could have even women & children on board his flights. Shouldn't he be treated as a terrorist? Shouldn't the health authorities be investigated to why this man is allowed to expose his germs?
Interesting question about viewing him as a terrorist. In one sense, he is spreading terror. However, while that might be the result, it was not his intention. I can find no information from credible sources that he intentionally exposed people. I can find no information that he is Jewish.
I think the CDC acted appropriately. It is scary to those involved, and I feel for there fright. However, I can't find any information that this man's act was intentional, or that he was told he should be quarrantined prior to his hospitalization. Based upon my citations below, I think your comment is reactionary in the extreme, and anti-semitic.

And yes, i think to some degree you are correct, he should be seen as some sort of terrorist or should at least be accused of attempted murder or assalt with a deadly weapon.

But i think we also need to take into account that he wasnt told NOT to fly, NOT to travel that he was infact contagious. No he should not have flown at all! He is a grown man, he should have been more careful. the fact is, rich, poor, jewish, christian- we are all selfish bast***s.
So...other than the fact that the National Jewish Hospital in Denver, world-renowned for infectious disease treatment, is going to treat him, you know he's Jewish because..???

as was stated in several AP articles, he was not aware of which particular strand of TB he had prior to leaving the US. According to the CDC, final diagnosis for XDR TB (the type this guy has) may take from 6 to 16 weeks.

as it is, he only has latent TB which is not contagious except by a tiny percentage of the population - those with HIV or damaged immune systems. It is only when the bacteria becomes active that a person begins to exhibit symptoms and spread the bacteria readily to others.

in any event, the failure here is with the health professionals that allowed him to travel prior to knowing which strand of TB he had. But as I said, the risk of infection is incredibly small when it involves a person with latent TB, like this guy has.

As for your other comments, I'm not real sure from where you've gotten your information. First, he was not being treated by multiple drugs. Health professionals do not treat TB until they know what strand they are dealing with. That requires a thorough blood test where they take the person's blood and see how it responds to each strand of TB, thus arriving at a conclusion that an individual is infected with which ever particular strand of TB.

Insofar as that is the case, I fail to see why his Jewishness has anything to do with anything. The fact that you want to call him a terrorist and do so by repeating woefully flawed and incorrect information reveals much more about you than it does this supposed 'Jewish terrorist.'

If like you say...the authorities knew that the drugs were not working, the authorities are responsible not the patient.

The patient did not know the drugs were doing him no good.
