Is it legal to butcher a deer you accidently hit on the road? In season?

only if u have a tag..and its in season..other wise its got to stay roadkill on the side of the road..If not every Red Neck with a 4x4 jacked up 6 feet would be out road hunting with their bumper says ' GOSH OFFICER IT JUST JUMPED IN FRONT OF ME AND I DIDN'T WANT THE MEAT TO GO TO WASTE'

tubbs UP ABOVE IS THE KIND OF FELLOW IM TALKING ABOUT!
Depends on the country and state you are living in.
if you accidently on purposely hit the deer yes, lol,
but not otherwise,my kids guinea pig was poorly once, while he was at school i belted the bastard to put it out of misery,my wife cooked it as a bit of a laugh, hey guess what?
it tastes of lamb kinda, smells the same cooked, when billy said did simon<die> i said yes son ill get another,my wife had to skin it cos it was nast all the guts, but it was tasty, try it,
No it is not legal as long as you show proof that you have a license to hunt it is all good.

Answers:
usually not, you need to check with fish and game in your state..
and the state usually owns the meat and the police usually take the meat to a local food bank or shelter..
i personelly would not want to use my deer tag on brushed meat even it was in season..
You really need to check with Fish and Game in your state.
lmao
cant answer that but am having a very good laugh =)
Actually it is legal!! But first of all you should contact your local law enforcement or DNR. They have to put it on record and then you can take the deer. However, if you have a tag you gan tag it. I know someone who mounted a deer that someone else hit!! Not the way you think!! As in stuffed it, LOL Not like that, Hung it on the wall! LOL
