I wanted to know how to get your settlement if some one owes you money throught the court system.?
Answer:
if you are due a settlement, you can lean their property. Vehicles, home, etc. That means they can never sell or transfer the item without you getting paid. You can also garnish their wages. Talk to someone at the county courthouse for leining property, that is fairly simple. I'm not sure how to garnish wages, but they may be able to help you there also.
If you have already sued and the judgment was in your favor, get an order of garnishment and have it served on the employer of the person who owes you money. The employer then has to deduct the money from their paycheck and you are guaranteed to get paid as long as the person remains employed there.
