How have the chgo. mob changed since the death penalty have been removed from the state of Illinois.?

There had been laws that kept the mob buzz in check and now that the death cost is removed and the economy is bust have there be an up tick in lawlessness in Illinois.
Best Answer:
I think what have changed the Chicago mob is the Family Secrets trials that happened two years ago. That put many of the old university Chicago mobsters away for a long time. RICO laws have also put a damper on mob activity. But form no mistake, organized crime continues to exist.
